Bindi Solar — Device Commissioning App
React Native companion app for field technicians to commission solar charger devices on-site and configure their MQTT broker connection.
Problem
Field technicians needed a way to commission and configure new solar charger devices on-site, without direct access to the backend admin panel.
Solution
Built a React Native companion app for on-site device commissioning — reading device data over USB/local storage, configuring the MQTT broker connection, and transmitting pending readings to the cloud platform.

React Native App → USB/Local Device Storage → MQTT Broker → Node.js Backend
My Contribution
Built the mobile app UI, local device data flow, and MQTT broker configuration and sync screens.
Result
Used by field technicians to commission and configure solar charger devices on-site for the Bindi Solar IoT platform.
